Our Story
Most electric kart companies buy off-the-shelf batteries, bolt them onto generic frames, and call it a product. We do all three in-house.
Dedicated electric kart team. Our core business is commercial electric go-karts. Not converted petrol karts. Not EVs that happen to make karts on the side. Every engineer, every designer, every tester works on one thing: making electric karts that earn money for track operators.
In-house lithium battery technology. Korean EV-grade cells, proprietary BMS, FlashCharge, QuickSwap, patent-pending crash-tested housing. We design, assemble, and test every battery pack ourselves. That means we control runtime, safety, and charging speed at the cell level.
Asia's leading chassis partner. KnK Karts has 25 years building professional kart chassis, exported across Asia and the Middle East. Their steel alloy frames are the foundation every Formula-Zero kart is built on. Nobody else has this partnership.
Under the leadership of CEO Sarthak Piplani, this combination has put Formula-Zero karts on tracks across India, from Mumbai to Kakinada.

ElettriCo founded
Sarthak and Rohan co-found ElettriCo, an EV systems company building high-discharge lithium battery packs and powertrains across motorsport applications. The kart programme starts here — and five years later becomes Formula-Zero.
110 km/h — Indian record
Set the top speed record for an electric kart in India. Partnership with Praga Karts begins to develop their Race Line electric programme. Testing in Italy.
Race Line Electric ships. Praga Race Line Electric goes to market with the co-engineered powertrain. Perfect 50-50 weight distribution.
First international sale. First kart shipped to Italy. Proof that the engineering travels.
KnK Karts partnership
Asia's leading chassis manufacturer joins the programme. 25 years of professional kart-building meets purpose-built electric powertrains.
Formula-Zero incorporated. ElettriCo's kart programme spins out as Formula-Zero Pvt Ltd, registered in Chennai. EK2 prototype enters track testing across Indian venues.
Lineup launches at IAAPI
EK2-X, MK2 and Gen-Z unveiled at IAAPI. Fleets sold to MIKA Chennai and Smaaash Mumbai. First MK2 fleet ships to PP Karting Kakinada.
TSE twin-seater launches. Only commercial electric twin-seater in India. Fleets at Arasar Royale Vellore, PP Karting Hyderabad, and Woop! Bengaluru.
10 lakh km logged
