Formula-Zero Electric Energy Pvt Ltd ("Formula-Zero", "we") operates fzero.in. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Plain English, no dark patterns.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, request a demo, or email/WhatsApp us, we collect the details you provide: name, phone number, email address, company, city, project stage, intended fleet size, and any message you write. We collect this so we can respond to your enquiry and follow up about Formula-Zero karts.

Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel logs basic request data (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security, abuse prevention, and infrastructure monitoring. We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels on fzero.in.

Cookies. Our site does not set cookies. Your browser may store standard technical state for the page (no identifiers, no tracking).

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange demos, quotes, or site visits.
• To follow up on active sales conversations.
• To send relevant product updates (only if you have asked us to, or are an active customer or prospect).
• To prepare quotations, invoices, and shipping documents for confirmed orders.
• To comply with Indian tax, accounting, and corporate-records obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not use it to build advertising audiences.

Where it lives

Lead and customer information is stored in our internal CRM (Supabase) and our accounting system (ERPNext). Both are access-controlled and used only by Formula-Zero staff and trusted consultants under confidentiality.

When you submit our contact form, we also receive a notification in our internal Telegram group so the team can respond quickly. The notification contains the same details you submitted.

Who we share it with

We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us run the business — for example, our hosting provider (Vercel), database provider (Supabase), and accounting/ERP provider (Frappe/ERPNext). They process data on our instructions and under their own security and privacy obligations.
• Logistics and manufacturing partners when required to fulfil a confirmed order (shipping addresses, contact phone, GST details).
• Tax authorities and auditors as required by Indian law (GST returns, statutory filings).
• Legal authorities if compelled by a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

• Active leads: until the conversation is closed or the lead asks to be removed.
• Inactive leads: archived after 24 months of no contact.
• Customer records: retained for as long as the customer relationship is active, plus the period required by Indian tax and corporate law (currently 8 years for tax records).
• Server logs: rolling, typically 30 days at the hosting layer.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• Show you what information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your details (subject to records we are legally required to keep).
• Stop contacting you.

Email go@fzero.in with the subject "Privacy request" and we will action it within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the website and API, access-controlled internal systems, and least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information with the same care we would expect for our own.

Children

Formula-Zero is a B2B business. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data through our website, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data — for example, if we add an analytics tool — we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be flagged prominently on the site.
